Nazir Ahmed
Born in 1952 in Sheikhupura, Nazir Ahmed is a renowned Pakistani landscape painter. A graduate of the National College of Arts, Lahore, he was mentored by Khalid Iqbal. Specializing in en plein air painting, he captures the transient qualities of light. His works, often depicting trees, rivers, and canals, reflect his deep connection to nature. In recognition of his contributions to Pakistani art, he was awarded the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz in 2012.
