Meher Afroze
Meher Afroz is a renowned Pakistani artist and educator, born in 1948 in Lucknow, India. Her work, spanning over five decades, explores themes of spirituality, identity, and human experience through layered surfaces and symbolic imagery. She has exhibited internationally and received the President’s Pride of Performance Award in 2015. Afroz also serves as a senior faculty member at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in Karachi.
