Aafia Ali Shah

Aafia Ali Shah is an Australian-Pakistani visual artist whose work explores spirituality, memory, and metaphysics. Blending painting, bookmaking, and textiles, her art reflects Islamic thought and the unseen self. Educated at Southern Cross University, she has exhibited in Australia and Pakistan and received the 2023 Chancellor’s Art Prize for her exploration of ego death and transformation.
