Artistic Practice
Laraib's work focuses on colour exploration, treating colour as a dynamic, living element. She creates structured compositions often using lines, squares, and other forms inspired by nature and landscapes to investigate subtle tonal variations within a single hue.

Additionally, she was featured in the “Heavenly Bodies” exhibition at Gallery 6, which examined the connection between the earthly and the divine through natural elements.

Beyond her personal art practice, Laraib has contributed to the art community by curating exhibitions and collaborating with other artists. She co-organized the international online exhibition “UNORTHODOX,” partnering with organizations such as 99 Films, Anton Art Centre, and Art Circle to showcase diverse artistic expressions. Earlier in her career, she interned at Canvas Gallery Karachi and assisted senior artists and designers, experiences that have informed her curatorial and collaborative endeavours.

Current Work

Currently, Laraib is based in Lahore, where she continues to develop her artistic practice. Her work is characterized by a meticulous exploration of color and form, inviting viewers to engage with the nuanced emotional landscapes she creates.
