Tahir Bilal Ummi

Tahir Bilal Ummi is a Pakistani landscape artist whose journey from humble beginnings to artistic acclaim is both inspiring and remarkable.

Early Life and Background
Born in 1990 in Shahpur Saddar, a tehsil in Sargodha, Punjab, Ummi was introduced to art through his father, a poet and painter known for his works on Allama Iqbal’s poetry, the 1947 partition, and traditional truck art. Tragically, his father passed away from a heart attack when Ummi was just eight years old, leaving behind his mother and six siblings.

Artistic Journey
Despite financial hardships, Ummi nurtured his passion for painting while working as a laborer in Talagang. His talent came to prominence in 2019 when Gallery 6 in Islamabad featured his work in the exhibition "Mein Bhi Pakistan Hoon," marking his debut in the professional art scene.

Artistic Style
Ummi's work is characterized by serene oil-on-canvas landscapes that reflect the beauty of Pakistan's countryside. His paintings are noted for their warm tones and detailed depictions of rural life, capturing the essence of the land he calls home.
