Early Life and Education
Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Khusro Subzwari exhibited a profound interest in art from a young age. Despite pursuing a formal education in Civil Engineering at NED University, where he graduated in 1981, Subzwari remained deeply connected to the arts. He actively participated in art-related programs during his studies, and his oil painting work was recognized early on, earning him the 2nd prize from renowned artist Gulgee in 1978.

Artistic Journey and Style
Subzwari's artistic journey took a significant turn during a visit to Turkey in 2011, where he witnessed the Sufi whirling dervishes. This experience profoundly influenced his work, leading him to explore themes of spirituality and mysticism, often drawing inspiration from Mevlana Rumi's poetry . His paintings are characterized by vibrant colors and abstract forms, reflecting his belief in a spiritual realm beyond the material world. Subzwari describes his creative process as one where shapes emerge in his mind as he applies colors to the canvas, allowing the artwork to take form organically.

Exhibitions and Recognition
Subzwari has showcased his art in numerous international exhibitions, including in Istanbul, London, the UAE, and notably representing Pakistan at the International Art Fair in Lugano, Switzerland, in November 2012 . His works are also displayed in the United States and Europe, with upcoming exhibitions scheduled in the UAE and Bangladesh .
