Education
Ghalib is a Rawalpindi-based visual and performance artist who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2024 from the National College of Arts (NCA), Rawalpindi. He specialized in Miniature Painting during his academic journey.

Artistic Practice
Ghalib’s work explores the nature of human character, focusing on the observation of transitioning energies and auras. While rooted in the tradition of miniature painting, his evolving artistic vision has led him to push beyond conventional boundaries.

Performance Art
As his practice matured, Ghalib ventured into performance art, using his body as both canvas and tool. His work in this medium explores identity, social justice, and the complexities of the human condition. His performances are often site-specific, drawing from the diverse landscapes of Pakistan—both urban and rural—and incorporating music, dance, and spoken word to craft immersive, thought-provoking experiences.

Collaborations and Theatre Work
In addition to his studio practice, Ghalib has collaborated extensively with theatrical societies and has showcased his talents on national platforms, including the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA). His performances are known for vibrant storytelling that merges traditional themes with contemporary expressions, resonating with audiences from various backgrounds.

Currently, Ghalib is performing in Anwar Maqsood’s acclaimed theatre play “House Arrest”, produced by Kopycat Production.
