Fardeen Burhan Khan

Fardeen Burhan Khan is a Karachi-based emerging artist and an Advertising and Design student at SZABIST. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, his practice explores themes of identity, emotion, and presence through faceless figurative forms, shifting attention from facial features to posture, atmosphere, and visual language.

Grounded in a background in design, Khan’s work balances structure and intuition, where digital sensibility converges with the tactile depth of paint. He has exhibited at Artchowk Gallery, NinaNowa Art Gallery, and Studio Seven Art Gallery, and was a participant in the Arjumand Painting Award 2025. His work was featured on the front cover of The Hemlock Art & Literary Journal (Spring Issue, May 2025). In December 2025, he was selected for the Roots & Resonance art retreat, further expanding his practice through immersive artistic exchange.
