Brishna Amin Khan
Miniature Painter | Calligrapher | Performance Artist
Based in Lahore, Pakistan
Brishna Amin Khan is a Lahore-based visual artist who graduated from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore in 2019. She majored in Miniature Painting with minors in Calligraphy and Performance Art. Her academic journey at NCA laid the foundation for her refined techniques, conceptual strength, and interdisciplinary exploration.
Connection with Nature
Spending her summers in Murree, Khan was deeply moved by the serene landscapes and natural beauty that surrounded her. These seasonal retreats became a significant influence on her artistic practice, inspiring her to create peaceful, immersive landscapes that evoke a sense of bliss. Her work celebrates the essence of nature — each tree, flower, cloud, and blade of grass is rendered with care, inviting viewers to pause and take delight in the natural world.
Exhibitions and Artistic Career
Khan's artistic career began during her second year at NCA when she participated in a group exhibition titled Forty-One at the Zahoor-ul-Akhlaq Gallery in Lahore. Since then, she has consistently exhibited her work across prominent national and international platforms.
