Bazil Habib

Bazil Habib is a contemporary Pakistani artist born in Lahore in 1997. He pursued his early education in Fine Arts at Government College University (GCU) Lahore, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a major in painting from the National College of Arts (NCA) Lahore, graduating in 2021.

Artistic Vision and Style
Habib’s work is characterized by a vibrant exploration of color and form. He draws inspiration from his passion for night photography, particularly urban scenes rich in saturated hues. This influence is evident in his paintings, where he deconstructs fragmented memories into precise, minimal, and geometric forms. Recurring motifs such as overlapping windows, steps, and spaces serve as metaphors for the complex and often fragmented nature of human experience. Through his art, Habib aims to evoke emotional responses that transcend language and culture.

Notable Exhibitions
Habib has showcased his work both nationally and internationally. In 2024, he held a solo exhibition titled Timescapes: Paysages Temporels at Galerie Lee in Paris, France . Earlier, in 2023, he participated in the group exhibition Eclectic Mix 3.0 at Sanat Gallery in Karachi, Pakistan.
