Ahmed Javed
Ahmed Javed is a contemporary visual artist from Lahore, Pakistan, born in 1992. He developed a deep interest in art during his college years, despite initially pursuing pre-engineering studies. To transition into the art world, he joined Studio RM in Lahore, which prepared him for admission to the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, one of Pakistan's most prestigious art institutions.
Education and Early Career
At NCA, Javed was introduced to Mughal miniature painting in 2013. He quickly mastered the traditional techniques and began incorporating contemporary themes into his work. His innovative approach led to several accolades, including a student scholarship, the Art of Happiness Award sponsored by Coca-Cola, and an honors award for his thesis project in 2016.
