Your second image has very vibrant colours.That’s good .Here too u need to focus on subject that either is in the front or back.
Secondly ,the trees need some form,too rigid,
U have to be very careful while playing with light and dark
Elements in nature don’t have well defined rigid shapes.Again leave some room for imagination.

In the 1st image the scape in the background needs to be blurred if the subject focus is fron the area.Similarly,somethings are left for the imagination like half pebbled road
Also apply more paint
