Khalid Iqbal, the legendary landscape painter of Pakistan, made drawings of human live models as part of his study work at Slade School of Fine Art (UK). These were done in the mid 1950s and include portraits as well as full figures of both males and females. The drawings were gifted by Mr Iqbal to his niece with whom they have remained ever since. Art lovers in Pakistan or elsewhere have not seen these outstanding works as they have never been shared or displayed before. Gallery 6 is pleased to announce that these rare drawings recording the development period of the legendary artist are now available for sale with a combined authenticity letter from Gallery 6 and Mr Iqbal's niece.
The drawings are in their original form, however, they can be touched to hide tape marks in the corners, which the artist applied to stick his drawings in a book.
