King Edward Medical College, Lahore is named after King Edward. The second oldest medical college in the sub-continent was established in 1860. Building construction was completed in 1883.
This is part of a series of pen and ink sketches/drawings prepared by the artist, covering old and historical buildings (under the title “Casualties of Changing Times”) in areas now comprising Pakistan. It is an endeavor towards reviving and keeping alive a fast fading style of art – pen and ink.
This artwork is drawn on a pastel sheet (a darker shade of beige) with 0.1mm and 0.2 mm Rotring Rapido with Rotring Black Ink.
